Volunteering at Ronald McDonald House has become one of my favorite team traditions - a chance to step outside our usual roles, cook a meal together, and give families a moment of comfort during an incredibly difficult time in their lives. It's a reminder that the best teams don't just work well together; they show up for their community too. And showing up for others, even in small ways, matters more than we know.

Having the opportunity to volunteer with MUC and outside of work is something I have always valued. Saturday Hoops is one of my favorite ways to give back to the community with family and friends every year. Being able to play sports, do crafts, read books, and enjoy a meal with the kids and young adults in the Cincinnati community continues to be a positive light in my everyday life. I love being able to help grow confidence and value in the kids' lives and remind them that positivity can change their entire perspective on life!

As the theater director at Gigi's Playhouse Indianapolis, I get to shine a spotlight on individuals with Down syndrome. M.U.C.'s support for community involvement allows me the flexibility to provide a stage to show the world what these amazing individuals CAN too. It is a constant reminder that diligence, teamwork, and 110% effort can accomplish amazing things!

I believe we're not meant to do life alone. Volunteering keeps me connected to my community while giving back to the people who have given so much to me. Whether serving at IPM Food Pantry or helping with projects at Crossroads Church, I've learned that even small acts of service can make a lasting impact on both those we help and ourselves.

This Non-profit event is especially close to my heart, as David was a dear friend who passed away unexpectedly in a work accident. This event raises money for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to ensure kids with families struggling financially receive the care they need. The David Didusch Memorial Classic grants those who knew him to celebrate the life of an amazing person who touched so many, and those who didn’t, to enjoy the beautiful game of golf, while still making a difference in their local Cincinnati community.

Outside of work, I volunteer with Love & Acceptance of Autism & Special Needs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children with special needs and their families. Through my involvement, I have developed stronger compassion, communication, and teamwork skills while making a positive impact in the community. This experience reflects my commitment to helping others and promoting inclusion and acceptance for all children.
